Everything You Need to Know About Consigning With Us

General Consignment Guidelines

Accepted Items:
We consign fine, pre-owned home furnishings and accessories—including furniture, artwork, lighting, rugs, decorative accents, fine jewelry, handbags, and estate vintage items.

Not Accepted:
We do not accept clothing, children’s furniture or toys, appliances, electronics, tools, or gym equipment.

How do I submit my items for consignment?
Submit clear photos of your items via our Consignment Submission Form for review and approval.

Condition & Requirements

What condition should my items be in?
All items must be in good, clean, sale-ready condition. For example, lamps must include working bulbs and shades, and silver must be polished.

Sale-Ready Condition:
Your items are in “sale-ready condition” when they’re prepped to shine without any extra work. This means:

  • Thoroughly Cleaned: Every surface is spotless, free from dust, grime, or odors.
  • Damage-Free: No visible defects or signs of wear that would detract from its charm.
  • Fully Functional: Lamps light up, furniture is sturdy, and any moving pieces operate smoothly.
  • Aesthetically Appealing: Items are presented beautifully, reflecting the care and style of your home.

Consignment Process & Payment

What is the consignment period?
We offer a 90-day contract with a 15% price reduction every 30 days to help your items sell.

What percentage do consignors receive?
Consignors receive 50% of the final selling price after all scheduled price adjustments.

When and how do consignors get paid?
Payouts are issued and mailed on the 10th of every month. If you’d prefer to pick up your check, please call ahead.

Unsold Items & Policies

What happens if my items don’t sell?
If your items remain unsold at the end of the 90-day consignment period, you must pick them up within 5 days. Items not retrieved within this timeframe will be forfeited to ReDecor and handled at our discretion.

Logistics & Services

Do you offer pick-up and delivery services?
Yes, we accept walk-in consignments 7 days a week and offer pick-up and delivery services for a nominal fee.

Do I need an appointment to consign my items?
While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend scheduling an appointment for larger or higher-value items to ensure dedicated attention.

Consignor Pickup Instructions for Expiring Items

  • 24-hour notice: Required when picking up expired items.
  • Come prepared: Bring bubble wrap, boxes, blankets, sheets, etc.
  • Bring help: Please bring assistance if items are large.
  • Pickup hours: 11 AM to 4 PM, Tuesday through Friday (no exceptions).
  • If items remain unsold at the end of the 90-day period, they will remain on the sales floor until pickup day and will only be held for 5 days after expiration before being forfeited.
  • Delivery & pickup: ReDecor offers these services for a fee.

Purchased Merchandise Holding for Pickup

  • Come prepared: Bring packing materials such as bubble wrap, boxes, blankets, or sheets.
  • Assistance: Bring help if items are large (we’re happy to assist).
  • Pickup hours (large items): 10 AM, Tuesday–Saturday (no exceptions).
  • Normal business hours: Monday–Saturday: 10 AM–5 PM; Sunday: 11 AM–4 PM.
  • Holding limit: Items can only be held for 3 days due to limited floor space.
